PerSec Express is the first commercial off-the-shelf software designed to meet the needs of government organizations that complete personnel security screening. It allows flexible, scalable installation to meet the needs of any size of government institution. It is effective whether the institution has a single office or has dispersed operations around the globe.
Why PerSec Express?
Most institutions require candidates seeking security screening to manually complete forms. These are forwarded to security personnel who extract information for checks, etc. With PerSec Express, all these administrative steps are reduced. PerSec Express can:

How does PerSec Express Work?
The candidate seeking a security clearance completes all input on the system screens. All information required on the approved Treasury Board forms is captured. As each screen is completed, the information is validated. The candidate is not allowed to submit the forms until the validation is successful.
A verification capability is built into the system. This capability necessitates someone in the organization to verify the information the candidate submits. This capability is flexible enough to meet the needs of the organization by allowing a Unit Security Officer, a manager, or other designated person to complete the verification.
The system also has a second level monitor / control capability. This can be used for example to allow regional security personnel to monitor and control screening status for their region.
The information submitted is captured on a secure server. The personnel security screening officers access this data to complete the screening / clearance process.
To further enhance the system, extract modules can be added for RCMP, CSIS, or any credit bureau checks. Additionally, if your institution uses specific HR software, an import module can be added to allow automatic population of current employees. Likewise, if your institution uses specific software for Security (e.g., PeopleSoft), a module can be added to export data to it.
